ORB Innovations provides a limited warranty of six (6) months from the date of delivery if the failure is due to defects in materials or workmanship. What metrics does the ORB Sport mouthguard track?
The ORB Sport mobile app tracks over 20 metrics and more will be added in the future. The ORB Sport mobile app is the best place to discover the breadth of data that’s available to athletes. See all metrics here.
Can I get live data from my ORB Sport mouthguard?
You can get live data during an exercise session with the ORB Sport mobile app. If your mouthguard is connected and in communication range with your phone, the app will display live heart rate data, live heart rate zones, active calories burned, and session duration.
What other fitness tracking apps and devices is ORB Sport mouthguard compatible with?
ORB Sport mouthguard can be used as a standard BLE (Bluetooth® low energy) heart rate monitor and can pair with third-party apps or devices that accept a BLE heart rate service. Currently, it cannot share or export data to other health apps.
Do I need to keep my phone near my ORB Sport mouthguard?
No, you don't. ORB Sport mouthguard stores data on the device, so you can leave your phone behind and focus on training. After your session, sync up to gain all your data insights. If your mouthguard is connected and in communication range with your phone, you can stream heart rate and active calories in real time.
Does the mouthguard require the ORB Sport mobile app to work?
No, you do not need the app for the mouthguard to work. However, you do need the app to access your data and to experience ORB Sport smart mouthguard at its full potential. The app is required to see all the data that ORB Sport mouthguard tracks.
Is the ORB Sport mobile app compatible with my phone?
Currently, the app is compatible with iOS 16 or newer as well as Android 9 or newer.
How much does the ORB Sport mobile app membership cost?
A membership is $7.99/month billed monthly or $58.99/yr billed annually (~ $4.92/month) with a 7-day free trial.
Is the ORB Sport mobile app available in other languages?
Currently, it is only available in English.
When can I expect my ORB Sport mouthguard to arrive?
It will be shipped to you within one to two weeks after we receive a viable impression of your teeth using the impression kit we provided you.
Where do you ship?

What’s the recommended age range for an ORB Sport mouthguard?
There are no age restrictions, but longevity of the mouthguard may be limited in younger athletes due to growth-related tooth movement.
Is ORB Sport mouthguard recommended for athletes who wear braces or bonded retainers?
No, it is not recommended for anyone wearing braces or bonded retainers.
How long does the mouthguard’s battery last on one charge?
Up to 4.5 hours of recording time.
What is the Bluetooth range of the ORB Sport mouthguard?
ORB Sport mouthguard uses Bluetooth 5, the range of which is in the public domain. However, many factors can affect the reception distance, so the distance required to sync may vary.
